TMS council is a representative body of students elected by their peers to serve the student and to facilitate communication between students and faculty within the school. The student council typically consists of elected representatives from various grade levels or classes, including a Head Boy, Head Girl, Prefects and class monitors. The objectives of Council are-
- Leadership Development;
- Learning the management and organisation of various events and activites;.
- Decision Making.
- Representing Students at various forums.
Through projects and activities, student councils work to :
- Providing opportunities for students to develop interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organizing school-wide assemblies and rallies to address important topics.
- Providing resources and support for students facing academic challenges.
- Addressing bullying and promoting a culture of respect and tolerance.
- Creating safe spaces for students to express themselves and share their ideas.
- Coordinating student recognition programs to celebrate academic and extracurricular achievements.
The role of the student council at TMS is :
- To serve as positive role models for their peers, demonstrating responsibility, integrity, and dedication to serving the school community.
- To initiate and support projects aimed at improving various aspects of the school environment, such as facilities, resources, and policies.
